Modern Method of Construction

Insulated Precast Systems

Insulated precast concrete panel (Sandwich Panel) consists of two layers of concrete separated by a layer of rigid insulation. IPS panels can be structural (load bearing) or non-structural (non-load bearing) and can be used in building envelopes (outside walls) for Residential, Commercial, Governmental or Educational construction. IPS systems can be used for full or partial construction. The concrete panels are pre-cast at a manufacturing facility. The thicknesses can vary depending on structural and architectural requirements of the project. The insulation layer is cast between the concrete panels, and is commonly made out of: expanded polystyrene (EPS) (varies with material’s density), void (no insulation material), or a mixture of lightweight concrete with EPS.

We provide the best solutions for your growth

  • Allows for just-in-time planning given the ability to systematically schedule off-site production
  • Reduces the need for additional on-site work as some interior fittings can be done remotely
  • Reduces on-site labor requirements, allows for less wastage and volume of building materials
  • Help dispense casing of the walls
  • Reduces overall cost given the right scale
  • Shop drawings are done by the factory which reduces the need for engineering offices
  • Enhances quality control of the production (allowing experienced works)
  • Minimizes the storage space on-site for material and reduces on-site pollution Maintenance
  • Requires very little maintenance apart from the aesthetic given the nature of the production
  • Reduces thermal conductivity, which gives higher energy efficiency to the structure of the building
  • Provides enhanced sound absorption due to the nature of the material
